Run a node
We encourage Firestarter participants to run their own hardware or independently sourced servers equally to renting them from Gevulot. The Nodes are eligible for mainnet token rewards for the lifetime of the Firestarter network. A notice will be given 30 prior the rewards end.
The onboarding process and amount of nodes eligible for rewards are subject to application and written confirmation from the team.

Download the latest release binary fromor gvltctl releases build it from source.
Generate Gevulot Firestarter account
gvltctl keygen
The tool will output two lines. First one is the account address and the second one is the secret mnemonic for the account private key. Put the secret mnemonic into a safe store, such as a password manager!
Register the blockchain account[s]
Please fill out the form. We will credit that account with initial tokens so you can register the Worked Nodes.
Signing the contract & Node count confirmation
Once the form is signed, you should automatically receive a node grant to sign to your email. The contract is pre-signed on our end.
Your number of nodes that accrue tokens is subject to our approval, we will confirm the number of nodes to your provided email account.
For US-based node operators, we must run an additional accredited investor check.

Run the installer and follow instructions
The node account will receive the initial tokens about 5-10 minutes after our approval and confirmation notification.
Disclaimer:
You must have a fresh Ubuntu Server minimal 24.04 installed on the server before proceeding with the installation. You can not have graphical user interface running when installing - otherwise the GPU devices are reserved and the installation will block forever.
